Cookie Policy
The cookies and similar technologies currently used by USFoodTrader.

What cookies are used
- ft_session: a necessary, HTTP-only authentication cookie that keeps an approved user signed in for up to seven days.
- ft_locale and ft_detected_locale: necessary preference cookies used to remember or infer the selected site language. A saved language preference may last up to one year; an automatically detected preference is generally session-based.
- Security challenge cookies: short-lived, HTTP-only values used during two-factor authentication and related account-security flows.
- ft_cookie_preferences: a necessary preference cookie that stores whether the visitor chose essential-only or allowed analytics; it lasts up to one year.
- ft_analytics_session: an optional, HTTP-only random session value lasting up to 24 hours, set only after analytics consent when first-party product analytics are enabled.
First-party product analytics
When enabled and allowed, USFoodTrader records product views and selected marketplace interactions using a daily rotating hash derived from the random analytics session. The analytics record may include product and storefront references, event type, date, locale, coarse country code, referrer host, and UTM attribution. It is designed not to retain the raw analytics session, raw IP address, contact details, or full referrer URL in analytics tables.
Anti-abuse and third-party technology
Cloudflare Turnstile is used on selected forms to distinguish legitimate use from automated abuse. Turnstile may process technical signals and use storage as described by Cloudflare. It is treated as necessary for security on the forms where it appears.
Email measurement
Eligible campaign email may include open or click measurement when an administrator enables those settings. Open metrics are approximate because mailbox software may block images or proxy requests. Campaign recipients can use the unsubscribe and preference links provided in eligible campaign messages. This email measurement is separate from the optional website analytics cookie.
Your choices
Use Cookie settings in the footer to allow or reject optional analytics. Rejecting analytics does not prevent sign-in, language preferences, security controls, or core marketplace use. Browser controls can also remove cookies, although blocking necessary cookies may prevent some features from working.
