Marketplace Terms
How USFoodTrader, buyers, and sellers participate in marketplace workflows.

USFoodTrader's role
USFoodTrader provides product discovery, approved company and storefront presentation, RFQs, protected inquiries, messages, moderation, and related workflow tools. The platform may review content and connect marketplace participants, but it does not guarantee a user, listing, quotation, product, certification, or transaction.
USFoodTrader and Tomasino Farms may also assist with sourcing, importing or exporting, logistics, financing introductions, regulatory support, or transaction coordination. Those services are separate from ordinary marketplace access and are provided only when expressly arranged.
Seller role
Sellers control and are responsible for their company profile, product information, supporting files, availability, pricing when supplied, inquiry responses, legal authority to offer products, and compliance with applicable food, labeling, safety, import, export, sanctions, and certification requirements.
Buyer role
Buyers are responsible for the accuracy of requests and RFQs, evaluating sellers and products, confirming specifications and commercial terms, obtaining professional advice when needed, and ensuring that purchases, imports, and intended uses comply with applicable requirements.
Listings and inquiries
A listing is an invitation to inquire, not a binding offer or guarantee. An inquiry or RFQ sends the submitted business requirements into a protected workflow for review and follow-up. A response or quotation may change after verification of volume, season, destination, availability, specifications, logistics, and other terms.
Transactions outside the website
The website currently has no online checkout or payment processing. Parties must separately confirm the contracting party, final specifications, inspection, pricing, currency, taxes, shipping, insurance, payment method, title, risk of loss, and dispute terms. USFoodTrader is not a payment custodian or escrow provider unless a separate written arrangement expressly says otherwise.
